Delicious food! Chicken Katsu made me so happy, as it's been so long since finding a place that serves it. Very kind owner, & there's just something so nostalgic about eating Hawaiian food out of a to-go container the whole place reminds me of eating on North Shore home town local vibe; nothing fancy.

This place is your basic island comfort food.
Place is dated looking but decent menu to select from.
I ordered the chicken and beef combo plate to go with a scoop of Mac salad.
Portion size is good and sauce flavor is also good and not over powering or salty.
The beef was a little tough for my liking but it was fine and I ate it all. Good cuts of meat and not too grisly.
Chicken had a nice grill flavor to it.
Mac salad was also decent. Just wanted a bigger scoop.
Overall a good meal at a decent price. Definitely worth a try if in the area. -

Basic, good, fresh, food. Stopped by here because Cafe Kai was closed and this was the first restaraunt I saw near by. I just ordered a chicken vegetable bowl to go. Ate it and it was fine. Tasted like any other teriyaki bowl. Meat wasn't too tough and my veggies weren't too soggy.
I just didn't like how it laid on the rice. The juices and sauce from my chicken was so much it drenched every bit of my white rice. I felt like I was eating the same ratio of rice to sauce together. Not pleasant. I would come here again to try something else because I don't feel like I can judge a restaraunt by 1 dish. I just want to try that 1 dish or food that makes them different. Will def. update review if I find that food. -

Wanted something different today. I drive by this spot sometimes when I'm in the area. Today was the day, Chicken Teriyaki plate with rice and Mac salad. Food is very good. Dining area a bit dated. Service is good.

One of my favorite old "haunts" from back-in-the-day! Used to come here often as it was the only place in Bremerton where you could get real loco moco. The owners wife makes the kimchi near daily and it is sublime! On this visit after an absence of three years, I had an opportunity to reconnect with family and on the Feast of St Stephen's Day (26 December) I stopped in to procure some takeout provisions for lunch. The menu has changed as does all things with time (a.k.a., I used to have hair once too), with a drift towards more Asian fusion dishes, and more Hawaiian type staples like chicken Katsu. No more loco moco but the kimchi is still as flawless as ever! Kamsahamnida for the food and the memories!
